"Most harnesses slip, choke, or cause stress — this one doesn’t. It’s thoughtfully engineered to reduce tension instantly and help dogs feel calm and in control.
I especially love the weatherproof name patch. No more noisy tags, just simple safety. Every dog deserves a harness like this."
"As a veterinarian, I’ve seen firsthand how poorly fitted harnesses can harm a dog’s spine, joints, and behavior over time. This harness is different — the no-pull design evenly distributes pressure and supports the chest, not the throat. It’s one of the safest and smartest solutions I’ve seen."
You can find the Size Chart button just above, right below the size selector. Measure your dog’s chest circumference at the widest point to find the right fit.
One click, done — it takes 2-3 seconds. No paw lifting, no leg threading. Your dog barely notices it’s happening.
The no-pull design distributes pressure across the chest instead of the neck, giving you better control while keeping your dog comfortable. Pair it with the Front D-Ring for even more control if your dog tends to pull hard.

Until she got her dogshood, Sadie lost precious walk time as I fiddled futilely with her old harness. Now it’s a snap—literally and figuratively.
So very easy to put on and he's very comfortable with it it's so much easier to walk him thank you
My little girl is enjoying her new harness. She especially likes the large opening for her head. Because she is small the front Velcro strap is a little long so we’ll probably have to cut about an inch off of it so it fits OK. Otherwise it’s a great product.
My daughter loves the handle on the leash. I love the ease of putting on this harness. I’ll probably be bad and buy another color as he tends to roll in the dirt while playing with other dogs. Love the name tag but lost one somehow.
It’s high-quality takes seconds to put on and it looks so nice thank you
Exceptional Customer Service! Extremely well-made product Very happy with my purchase
We love it and Herbie loves it!
He walks without pulling. The D ring helped! Thanks!
Makes traveling with her so much more fun!
I love it. Easy to put on and off and looking great. Thank you so much Phan
i originally got the wrong size, and Doghood very professionally sent the correct size, i really was impressed by that, Thank you, keep up the GREAT WORK!!
our “pup” weighs 173 lbs and when she sees a cat or…. she would literally drag me down the road ! now she is far better and that makes our other mastiff calmer too ! this makes walking far more enjoyable for me and them! thanks
It fits better than any other harness I have used. And seems to be more comfortable for Ollie. So easy to adjust and take on and off. Highly recommended
So I thought I would try out this harness as my dog loves to pull if she catches squirrels and bunnies running around. At first, I ordered a size medium and that was a mistake. I contacted customer service and they quickly replaced it with a size large that fit perfectly. The delivery was fast. The customer service was great and the harness is perfect thank you Dog hood.
Love, love, love these hardnesses. Jessie is 7 yrs and walks very well so the leash is clipped to the back of her. Sydney is only 1 yr and needs to be clipped underneath. Right now she is very much a "puller". Sometimes they go for a car ride to the park to be walked. The hardnesses are fantastic for clipping into the car. With 2 labs, life has become much easier. THANKS!!
Tilly girl is high energy and loves walks. Even with professional training she still has a hard time with the heal command and would constantly pull. Our walks would be cut short because it was too much. However, since we’ve been using this harness our walks have been SO much more enjoyable and honestly safer for both Tilly and myself. We love it!
Quick delivery. High quality product!
love it, easy to put it on
We have two big rescue doodles, and one caused some rotator cuff damage with the old neck collar- when he ran after a bunny this spring. Now, they both honestly walk with us. They don’t keep walking in a spinning- manner; but instead they slow down, look at us, or stop. This is the first product I’ve seen on Instagram that did EXACTLY as claimed! I never review products, but these harnesses are superb! Your product is allowing me to heal and give our boys the long walks they deserve. My husband and I will be return customers for sure! Thank you
Terrific harness! I have two of them. Very sturdy for our rugged mix.
Big girl needs big harness
Ordered 2 , Great Product , Easy On & Off , Nice Wide Buckle - Thank You Well Made & Nice Touch with Name Attachment
Easiest harness we've ever had to put on. She is quite comfortable in it - never fusses to get it off. We appreciate options to hook in front or on her back. Nice product!
Love the new harness for Xander and Ziggy. Our daily walk is so much better. Xander walks without pulling. I am very happy and grateful for owning Dogshood harness.
The only thing I dislike is the I have to put it tighter every time we go for a walk … but I like it a lot 🙂
These are a comfortable harness and I like that the bright orange is a more visible larger patch than the old harnesses I’ve used. My dogs live up in the mountains and are rarely on leashes. I doubt o will get more than a season out of it, since after only a few weeks of daily use, tearing through trees, rolling on hillsides they already have some small tears. I’m sure, for a city dog, or dogs who are walked on a leash they will last much longer. The bright orange to make them visible through the trees for myself and hunters is more important.
My dog loved it!
This harness is awesome! It definitely helps with the pulling! Customer service is excellent! I love this harness! And looks cute too!
Best Harness I have bought yet My first order size was a Medium. I relized when it arrived I had very badly misjudged my dogs size. When I reached out immediately to exchange for a X-Small( which fits perfectly) I was pleasantly shocked when I was told to keep the too big Medium and pay it forward to a friend or Shelter. Harper’s bestie June Bug got the Harness and her folks are thrilled. Well done Dogshood Chris McLaughlin & Harper
My dogs harness helps greatly with our walks. Alfie feels more secure and I do too! Thank you so much for a wonderful product.
He loves his walks so much he tries to put the harness on himself
What a quality company. Excellent communication, quality product, excellent follow up. I would definitely purchase another one if we got a second pup.
Easy to put on and makes walks more enjoyable
I’ve never been able to find a harness that I can adjust enough to fit my French bulldog. Those that I have managed to strap him into were uncomfortable and he hated them and would run from me every time I would try to put the harness on him. We are both very happy with this harness. I just pull it over his head real quick and snap it one time against his belly and we’re good to go. He knows now that if he wants to leave the house, he simply has to ring the bell and wait for his harness …so glad we found this.
Our German Shepard puppy used to pull so much that our arm would hurt. He was choking himself pulling so hard. Literally from the first minutes of putting this harness on, he stopped pulling. It was a night and day difference. And the leash helps SO much by taking any stress on it. I will buy this harness and leash again no matter what name the company goes buy. Tailo is fantastic and I’ve recommended them to all my friends.
Good quality. Good service
This harness was a game changer for us. Hank is a rescue and has severe fear aggression when slow moving vehicles approach. I couldn’t control him and he’s so strong he knocked me down a few times. Now when he lunges forward the harness just causes him to turn towards me. No more having to feel the growing anxiety every time I hear a motor coming towards us!
Love the harness I was surprised but dogs love them and no more hauling me
I really like the harnesses. They are so easy to put on my dogs, and both dogs seem to like it when I put the harness on them. I definitely noticed a difference with walking with them. They do not pull me all over the place. I bought the leashes too, so I think that helps. I am happy with my purchases.
